I started playing padel at the age of 39.No sporting background. No confidence. No idea what I was doing. What I did have was curiosity…...
Proudly known as The Queen of Padel — a title born not from crowns or trophies, but from passion, perseverance, and a deep love for bringing people together through sport.
I discovered padel later in life, with no previous sports background, yet it transformed everything for me. What began as a personal challenge quickly became a calling: to show others that it is never too late to start, to grow, or to feel powerful on a court. Padel gave me confidence, community, and a sense of purpose — and I’ve dedicated myself to giving that feeling back to others, as a Padel Ambassador in Ireland, committed to growing padel in Ireland and strengthening the Irish padel community.
I am committed to creating a space where people feel welcomed, supported, and inspired to evolve at their own pace. Through padel events in Ireland, social tournaments and community initiatives, I work to expand the reach of this inclusive sport and make padel accessible to players of all levels. I believe in coaching with heart, celebrating progress big and small, and nurturing a positive, inclusive padel community in Ireland where everyone belongs.
For me, padel is not just a sport — it is a movement that connects people and helps grow a strong and united padel network in Ireland.
As an Irish-certified padel coach and a padel ambassador, my mission goes far beyond coaching technique.
I am here to build communities.
I want to see padel unite people all across Ireland — from bigger towns to small towns — creating spaces where everyone feels included, welcomed, supported, and uplifted.
I believe in the power of local communities, in the magic that happens when people come together, and in the friendships and confidence that grow on the court.
Padel is connection. It’s laughter. It’s courage. It’s the spark that brings people together and reminds us we all belong. It’s where confidence grows, friendships are formed, and purpose comes to life.
I am incredibly proud to collaborate with GoPadel, a company that is transforming the future of padel in Ireland. Their work is not only professional and innovative — it is essential for the growth of our sport.
Having a company that listens to the needs of players, clubs, and communities is a gift for our country.
Gopadel thinks long-term, focusing on what will truly help the sport flourish, and I could not be happier to collaborate with a team that shares my belief in inclusive, community-driven growth.
As their ambassador, I am honoured to represent a brand so committed to creating opportunities for people of all ages and levels. Together, we are building something bigger than courts —we are building the future of padel in Ireland.
Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in Ireland, and new courts are opening across the country every year. Through its ambitious development plan, Padel100 is building 100 padel courts in Ireland, helping expand access to the sport nationwide.
Below you’ll find current locations where you can play padel in Ireland and book your court easily through the Playtomic app. As the project grows, new venues will be added here to support the continuous growth of the Irish padel community.

Welcome to my court.
I am Sandra Lopez, The Queen of Padel — coach, Padel ambassador in Ireland, tournament organiser, and above all, a true believer in the power of padel to connect people, build confidence, and create unforgettable moments.
Padel changed my life when I started playing at 39 with no sporting background. Today, my mission is simple:
to make Padel in Ireland inclusive, social, competitive, and fun for everyone — regardless of age, level, or experience.
As Padel tournaments in Ireland continue to grow, I am committed to organising events that combine professionalism with heart.
My tournaments are not just about winning points — they are about:
Whether you’re playing your first tournament or chasing that final, you’ll find professionalism, warmth, and passion on every court.
Padel is a social sport, and my social events are designed to bring people together and strengthen the padel community in Ireland:
Come on your own or with friends — you’ll leave feeling part of the growing Irish padel movement.
That’s why every event I run carries my personal stamp: experience, care, equality, and heart — contributing to the sustainable growth of padel in Ireland and helping build a strong and connected padel network nationwide.
So whether you’re here to compete, to socialise, or to discover padel for the first time, you’re stepping into more than a tournament — you’re joining a movement.
