It’s Never Too Late to Start Padel

I started playing padel at the age of 39.
No sporting background. No confidence. No idea what I was doing.

What I did have was curiosity… and a little voice saying “why not?”

So many people believe sport has an expiry date. That if you didn’t start young, if you’re not “fit enough”, slim enough, strong enough, or confident enough, then sport simply isn’t for you. I’m here to tell you that this is not true — and padel proves it every single day.

Padel is one of the most inclusive sports I have ever experienced. You don’t need to be fast, powerful, or experienced to enjoy it. You just need to show up. From the very first session, you’re part of something social, fun, and supportive.

The first time

When I stepped on court for the first time, I was nervous. I worried about making mistakes, about looking silly, about not being good enough. But padel has a way of breaking down those fears. You laugh, you miss shots, you learn together — and suddenly, you belong.

Years later, padel didn’t just change my fitness.

Today, I am a certified coach, a padel ambassador, and proudly known as The Queen of Padel — not because I’m the best player, but because I believe deeply in what this sport gives to people.

If you’re reading this and thinking “I’m too old”, “I’m not sporty”, or “maybe next year” — this is your sign.

It is never too late.
Your first step onto the court could change your life too.
